I know this because it has happened to me already especially KIA I have been selling after market parts on here for almost 20 years and all of a sudden we have to use OE part numbers ? If I do use them on a part not OE then the OE supplier will have them thrown off. How many times am I going to have to go threw all of my listings ? I have already added does not apply to my listings because it does not apply because it is not an OE part !!!!! I only sell a few OE parts and the OE number is listed for that part. Just to add to the frustration my supplier uses there own part numbering system and in some cases also gives reference to the OE part The last I knew it was illegal to use an OE part number if it was not an OE part so like what has been said who is going to pay for this? Im not. How unrealistic is this? So, instead of spending my time posting new listings I am going to have to spend my time updating all of my listings manually? Because I do not see a way to search to make corrections only to this field. It seems like you are trending toward eliminating the small entrepreneurial business and only want the mainstream parts businesses to sell on ebay.Īnd, if I can use "Does not apply" how do I filter this out on a search or do your really expect me to go through all 591 of my listings one by one to make corrections to this field? So, are all my parts listings that do not have Manufacturer part numbers, interchange part numbers, superseded part numbers or other part numbers going to be removed when the GTC listing expires? Sometimes these parts do not have part numbers stamped on them. I sell used parts that are salvaged from a junk yard. So, which is it? Can I use "Does Not Apply" in Part Number field or not?
